National Diploma (ND) Animal Health and Production Technology was established in 1964. The vision of the department include:
I. Provision of manpower in areas of Animal Health and Production Technology
ii. To produce graduates capable of sustainable livestock production and management
iii. To produce graduates capable of carrying out routine preventive measures, meat inspection, and follow up prescribed veterinary medical treatments
iv. To produce graduates who will meet the demands of farmers, agro-allied industries, pharmaceutical and government agencies.
5 credit passes obtained at no more than 2 sittings in each of these subjects: English, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science or Animal Husbandry, Chemistry and Physics.

Computer Science Technology Department of Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology Ibadan was pioneered in 2012/2013 session after series of visitation by NBTE Resource Inspection Team. The mission of the department is to produce self reliant manpower in Computer Science Technology capable of applying the use of computer in most areas of data processing and analysis. The graduates should be able to solve simple hardware problems, use various programming languages, know the operation of Computer system and use Computer packages.
Prior to the administration of the erstwhile Provost of the College, Dr. A. M. Raji, the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan was operating as a monotechnic with only one course of study at the National Diploma (ND) level and two courses at the Higher National Diploma (HND) level. These three courses are in the agricultural sector. When the administration of Dr. Raji came on board, he swung into action with his team. One of the missions of the administration was to diversify the courses in the College to include non-agricultural related courses. This is to enable thousands of Nigerian students seeking admission to acquire tertiary education in the course of their choice. Fortunately, Statistics became a viable option for the College.
